Editorial independence

ZeusXR News is published by ZeusXR, a company building infrastructure for immersive media. This relationship is disclosed because it matters. ZeusXR operates in the same industry we cover, including immersive video playback, encoding, distribution, creator tools and XR infrastructure.

Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial activity. We do not sell favorable coverage, hide conflicts of interest or present marketing material as journalism.

When an article covers ZeusXR, a ZeusXR product, a ZeusXR partner, or a direct competitor, we disclose that relationship clearly inside the article.

What we publish

We publish news, analysis, interviews, profiles, explainers, reviews and opinion pieces related to immersive media. Our core areas include:

We do not aim to be a general VR gaming publication.

Verification standards

We verify factual claims before publication whenever possible. Technical specifications, pricing, launch dates, funding data, company claims and benchmark results should be checked against primary sources, official documentation, direct company statements, public filings, hands-on testing or trusted reporting.

Rumors, leaks and unconfirmed claims are labeled clearly. We do not present speculation as confirmed fact.

When an article relies on a press release, embargoed briefing, demo, interview or company-provided material, we make that context clear when relevant.

Sources and attribution

We prefer named, on-the-record sources. Anonymous sourcing may be used when there is a legitimate reason, such as professional risk, confidentiality obligations or personal safety. In those cases, we describe the source's role as precisely as possible without revealing their identity.

We credit original reporting, link to primary sources when available and avoid rewriting another publication's work without adding meaningful context.

Reviews

Reviews are based on actual use, testing or clearly disclosed hands-on evaluation. If a product was loaned, provided for review, tested through a demo, accessed through a beta program or reviewed based on limited availability, that context is disclosed.

We do not allow manufacturers, sponsors or partners to approve reviews before publication.

Sponsored content is not editorial journalism. Any sponsored article, paid placement, brand partnership or commercial campaign must be clearly labeled as Sponsored Content.

Sponsored content must not be designed to mislead readers into believing it is independent reporting.

The editorial team may reject sponsored content that could damage reader trust, misrepresent the industry or conflict with the values of the publication.

Affiliate links

Some articles may include affiliate links. If readers purchase through those links, ZeusXR News may earn a commission.

Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial conclusions, product selection, review scoring or article framing.

When affiliate links are used meaningfully inside an article, we disclose that clearly.

Conflicts of interest

Writers and editors must disclose financial, professional or personal relationships that could affect their coverage.

A writer should not review or report on a company where they have an active financial interest, undisclosed contract, employment relationship or close personal connection.

When a potential conflict exists but the article remains editorially justified, the conflict is disclosed to readers.

Use of artificial intelligence

ZeusXR News may use AI tools for support tasks such as transcription, translation assistance, research organization, headline exploration, image analysis, metadata generation and editorial workflow.

AI tools do not replace editorial responsibility. Every published editorial article must be reviewed, verified and approved by a human editor.

We do not invent quotes, fabricate sources or publish AI-generated claims without verification. AI-generated images, synthetic visuals or heavily manipulated images are labeled when used.

Corrections

When we make a material factual error, we correct it visibly. Corrections may include wrong names, dates, specifications, prices, attributions, quotes, figures or technical claims.

Corrected articles include a note explaining what changed. Significant corrections are also listed in our public Corrections Log.

Minor style, grammar or formatting edits may be fixed without a public correction unless they change the meaning of the article.

Opinion

Opinion articles are labeled clearly. Opinion pieces may take a position, but they must still be factually grounded. Opinion does not allow false claims, hidden conflicts or misleading presentation.

Source protection

We take source confidentiality seriously. People sharing sensitive information should contact us through appropriate channels and avoid using corporate devices, corporate networks or accounts that could identify them.

We will not knowingly expose confidential sources unless required by binding legal process.

Diversity of coverage

Immersive media is a global industry. We actively seek to cover creators, studios, researchers, companies and events beyond Silicon Valley, including Europe, Latin America, Asia and emerging creative markets.
